Artist series is the second lowest member of the Alvarez catalog. It is positioned just above the Regent line and offers a wide range of lower-intermediate/intermediate nylon and steel-stringed guitars and basses. Currently, there are only three nylon-stringed guitars, two amplified and one fully acoustic model. AC65CE is one of the acoustic-electrics. It is made with a non-cutaway (and flat-top) classical body, 12th fret neck joint, classical headstock (w/3+3 tuners), and traditional styling. The MSRP for this beauty is set at $679 and it is available only in Natural (gloss/satin finish, classical rosette, no fingerboard inlays). Other important features include mahogany-made back & sides, solid Western red cedar top (A+ class), mahogany neck, 19-fret rosewood fingerboard, classical bridge (made of rosewood), LR Baggs electronics, and traditional Spanish bracing.
