Alvarez`s Artist series is made for players who have taken their art and their craft seriously and want an instrument that matches their dedication and mindset. Completely renovated throughout 2016 and 17, Artist line now offers a huge range of steel and nylon-stringed models, in both acoustic and amplified variants. ABT60 (2017) is one of two currently active baritone options, the completely acoustic one. It offers a non-cutaway body, neck attached at the 14th fret, 20-fret fingerboard, recognizable Alvarez styling. Natural (w/combined satin/gloss finish, chrome hardware, black pickguard) is the only available color option. The MSRP is set at $599. Other important features include mahogany back & sides, solid Sitka spruce top (white binding, double rosette), mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, characteristically shaped rosewood bridge, and FST2M bracing pattern.
