P2DC is the second dreadnought guitar from the Pro Series 1 line of acoustic-electric guitars. It`s major difference when compared to P1DC is the spruce top instead of cedar one, standard for the rest of the series. Therefore, P2DC has sapele back and sides in combination with spruce-made sound board. Also, this body sports a dovetail neck joint and scalloped X bracing pattern. high gloss finish is applied on the top, but the rest of the body sports satin finish. This combo is applied on all of the models of the series. It is a compromise between the sheen of the gloss and performance of the satin, for satin lets the wood breathe more naturally. Top panel features several layers of binding, black plastic pickguard and vintage rosette. Bridge section is equipped with a regular rosewood-made bridge with two-piece bone saddle and black string pins. Electronics are the same as on the rest of the Pro Series 1 models, Palathetic pickup and CT4B II preamp are included. Preamp is mounted onto the shoulder of the guitar and features three-band equalizer. African mahogany neck is topped with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard. white dot position inlays and bone string nut are also featured on it. Hardware is plated in chrome.
