MD1000SCE is a model from Mitchell`s acoustic-electric series. It comes with a single cutaway dreadnought shaped body which is made of mahogany back and sides with a spruce top. The top on this model is bound in black binding and finished in gloss over natural color. Also, a black plastic pickguard and a triple circle rosette. Bridge on MD1000SCE is made of rosewood and it comes with a belly shape. In the electronics department Mitchell installs Active AT 3000 Preamp with 2-band EQ and Volume Sliders in combination with under-saddle piezo pickup. The neck is made of mahogany with a standard contour. It is attached to the body with a dovetail joint. Fingerboard on MD1000SCE is made of rosewood and it is equipped with 20 frets, dot inlays and 1-11/16" wide synthetic bone nut.
