A6 belongs to the same family of models as the famous Multiac. It features a semi-hollow body construction with a set-in neck joint. Body is made of maple back and sides with cedar top. Top is flat and features no conventional sound holes. Also, it features control sliders installed to manipulate bridge piezo and standard neck humbucker. These pickups assure wide tonal range for A6. The bridge on this model is of acoustic kind and t is fixed. It comes with a set of white string pins. Neck is made of mahogany. It is equipped with a standard Godin contour and set-in joint. Fingerboard is made of rosewood and it features 22 classic-sized frets, offset dot position inlays and 1-11/16" wide synthetic bone string nut.

Congac Burst finish

A6 Ultra HG Semi-Acoustic features:

Mahogany neck

Indian rosewood fretboard

Two-chambered silver leaf maple body

pickups: Godin humbucker & epm under saddle transducer pick-ups

Excellent craftsmanship. The HG Congac burst finish is very durable, the guitar is very solid. So far have gigged with it 3 days a week for last 6 mos as my primary axe. Not a single issue with it. only had to swap it out when a string breaks.

I beleive it is an OUTSTANDING value. I have a Gibson SST that has been relegated to a backup role. This guitar is lighter and is much more versatile. I still love my SST, but this is now my main axe. More guitar for 1/3 the price. What else can I say...

Very happy with this guitar. Cannot say anything negative about it. Great tone and playability. Great looks and gig worthy. I don't understand the negetive commnets from a previous review. The reviewer must have gotten a lemon or, has never actually played it. I've gigged continuously with this guitar, from large to small stages. I cannot be happier.
