GB30CE is a model from the newly introduced line of acoustic-electric bass guitars based on the classical guitar series in the G segment of the catalog. Takamine continues the tradition of high quality affordable instruments with the bass line of Classical series. GC30CE is a single-cut bass with mahogany back and sides and spruce sound board on the top. There are only two color options available for this model, black with gloss finish and natural with gloss finish, as well. Abalone sound hole rosette and creme binding around the body top make the perfect contrast to the black body. On the top, there is a standard rosewood bridge with compensated saddle. Beneath the sound board, Takamine installs a TP40B preamp (classic TP-4T preamp adjusted for the use on acoustic basses). It features a three-band equalizer, as well as a chromatic tuner. Neck on this model is made of mahogany and it features a standard 21-fret rosewood fingerboard on it`s top. The MSRP for this model is set at $729.99.
