The Archbacks division of the Westerly collection offers acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars with famous archback construction, paying homage to the original mid-`50s archback models. The series` current roster has ten acoustic/acoustic-electric guitars and two four-string basses. Westerly B-240EF Fretless is one of only two Archback basses, the other being the fretted B-240E. Main features include a non-cutaway jumbo body (mahogany back & sides, solid Sitka spruce top), standard 16th fret dovetail neck joint, Guild/Fishman electronics unit (pickup/preamp w/tuner), and stock hardware. Guild offers this four-stringer in Natural (w/satin finish, chrome hardware). Other notable features include a C-shaped mahogany neck, 23-fret fingerboard made of pau ferro (1.625" nut, 30.75" scale, dot inlays), pau ferro bridge, and Guild tuners.
