EBR1-TB5FE is a fretless five-stringer in Boulder Creek`s Acoustic Bass segment. It comes with a pretty standard specs list for this series. Body of this five-string bass is made of laminated mahogany sides, solid mahogany back and solid cedar top. Solid/laminate/solid construction enables better tone projection and more volume. Suspended bracing, which is Boulder Creeks own patent further enhances tonal properties. Body of this bass also features two sound holes. One is placed on the sound board, while the other is on the side, oriented towards the player. Next to the second sound hole, Boulder Creek installs the AB4-T preamp. Fingerboard on this model is fretless and only features side dot markers. Tuning machines on the headstock are modern and feature 3+2 arrangement.
