EBR1-B5 is a model from the Boulder Creek`s Acoustic Bass line. The line consists of twelve jumbo-shaped acoustic-electric basses with single-cut bodies. Some of the design and construction solutions on these models are shared with Solitaire series. For example, models of both series feature suspended bracing system, which improves the tone projection and quality. Main sound hole is on the side, oriented towards the player. Acoustic Bass series models also have a small one in the front. Smaller sound hole is equipped with abalone binding. Body of this model is made of mahogany back and sides and solid cedar sound board. Electronics department is equipped with an AB4-T preamp, installed on the side of the body. 21-fret fingerboard on this model has dot inlays.
